First class - introduction to grounds session - Dogs attend

During this class, all dogs will be at a distance of approx. 5-10 metres apart, if more distance is required there is plenty of room to do this giving each dog the opportunity to relax and feel safe. Week 1 will be more of an introduction to the grounds session allowing your dog to be calmly exposed to the new environment with minimal expectations. We have a variety of levels in this group, some of which have socialisation and confidence issues and others who may have attended this group in the past and are just returning as a refresher or simply as a social outing for both the dog and handler.

A 6 week course can sometimes feel like it’s not long to curb all learnt and undesired behaviours, so each week at the end of the session we will allow time to have a group discussion and talk about any behaviour issues. The aim in this group is to equip you with skills that can be practiced at home, doing your training at home is going to be the fundamental requirement to aid your dog in learning. Regular fun training sessions will need to be a part of your dog’s daily routine.
